Sunday, May 01, 2005 New contest: 7 things
I am going to steal this idea from a National Geographic I read at my doctor's office on Thursday. The contest goes like this: I post a 7 things subject and you tell me what your 7 things are. The first edition: The 7 things that you miss about Childhood: 1. Innocence- self explanatory. 2. Athletic Ability- Yep. I was a soccer player. I do not think I could compete in a soccer game if I tried. 3. Time seemed to be infinite. Now, all I can do to get a break is take a vacation! 4. No worries about anything. Mom could handle anything and everything. 5. being able to play in the woods. I remember playing fort in the woods. We had a creek that ran a couple hundred of feet from my house. I would go back there, play in the creek all day trying to dam it up, all beaver style. Come home completely drenched, and love it. 6. Wide open imagination- being able to just look at a stick and think it was a sword. 7. no responsibility- see #4. Tell me what your 7 things are that you miss about childhood. Actually, my list would be almost identical to yours, except for the fact that I was also list "The White Coffeepot Junior" (a fast food resturant from my childhood which doesn't exist anymore) as something I miss. :-) Posted by Jack @ 5:26 PM, May 01, 2005 Home |
