ABC News! I must say, just the headline made me want to get up and smack a pollster. Poll Finds Most Oppose Return to Draft, Wouldn't Encourage Children to Enlist Hmmm. No one in the military wants a return to the draft! Hell even Donald Rumsfeld does not want a draft! I do not know anyone who wants a draft! My favorite line from this one is: "...although men, older Americans and Republicans were most likely to say it's a good idea, an AP-Ipsos poll found." Wait a minute. Most likely? That sounds a little subjective, Don't you think? Funny. Draft Counselors are popping back up. This time they are trying to get their hands on the community early. Oh well. |
