ECHOING an earlier warning by the Armed Forces, the Philippine National Police yesterday said the controversies and scandals rocking the administration of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo were but a prelude to a larger scheme to overthrow it. Wow. I have not heard anything in the news media about the unrest in the Phillipines. On Monday, the military brass said enlisted men were being recruited for the supposed destabilization try. GASP! Why is this not on World News Tonight??? It seems as if this is all over a scandal developing from Gambling Payoffs involving the president, and other members of government. Hmmm.
