I am telling you that Lyndie England has screwed recruiting forever. Nothing in recruiting affects it today. It always affects recruiting 6 months away. The England Story broke in January-ish, and look at it now. Recruiting is at a 3 year low for (all.. cough...) branches. I want this woman to burn. I do not care where, but she needs to be out.

I do not believe that Bill Maher should be fired. He usually supports the military. He is a comedian. He is calling England low-lying fruit, not all the rest of us.

I think that I am going to pick apart 2 of these people who need to be contacted, and I might even contact them...

Your son needed to get the Loan Repayment Program added to his contract. If he did not get it, he was the dumb one, not us. You can't blame the military for your son's stupidity.

Lou's 18-year-old daughter and 43 year old wife have both been contacted recently by recruiters.---Oh Snap! Got you too Lou. Your son, by your own website, was against the war in the Navy. Well, guess what. What he has to say now bears no fruit in my eyes. Navy Buddies... Lets find some Eisenhower Shippies and find all of the dirt on this "Drew Plummer". He was a Nuke Electrician. Come on boys. It is a small community! It costs over 250,000 to train a nuclear power sailor by the Navy. I do not believe this one. He did something else, something more. For all of us, article 134 is pretty much the catch all. Lets find it.

Here is a question for all of you. Do you have Asthma? If you do, you are disqualified for military service. 9 out of 10 moms tell their kids that when they are out of breath that they have Asthma, instead of telling them that they are a fat ass and to get off of the couch. Well, son, you do not have Asthma, you have lazy fat ass. If you say to the MEPS doctor that you have Asthma, you will be disqualified. We as recruiters know that, and we make sure that you know what Asthma is and if you have it or not. Mom is not a doctor in most cases. If that is coaching, then I am guilty. It is even in a video that the military processing station put out.

If this is true, this asshat needs to be in jail forever. If it is false, this woman needs to be in jail even longer. These stories come around every once in a while. 90% of them end up being unfounded, someone just wanting to get someone in power in trouble, especially for telling them that they are not qualified. But since the recruiting world has a microscope on it, it made the news. According to the 3rd link, it sounds like the guy has done it before. He needs to fry.

This asshole Doug Smith is a dipshit. The story says he works for recruiting command. I hope he does not anymore. They asked about the drop over the LAST 5 YEARS! what does he blame it on? The war. Yup, give them the freaking quote of the year! Dumbass. I hope you lost your job for those three words.

I'm a Desert Storm era vet and I totally agree with you that Maher's comment was not only taken out of context, but true. I hope he doesn't lose his job over it. That would be a slap across the face for all troops who risk their lives to defend his right to express his opinions freely.
