Thursday, March 24, 2005 Today is the greatest
Day of them all... Name that song and you get a yellow stickie of appreciation. Today I found that one of the guys that I served with actually lives in town and is from here. It is ironic because I met his sister in law that explained his career, we talked about him and then she told me his name. Holy crap I served with him! I called him up and he did not really remember me I don't think. We talked and he said that he is going to come by the office and talk about some of the old times. It is such a small world now that I am in the military. Not only do you meet at least 2 people a day who were in my branch, I am even finding people that I served with. Weird. |
